Code/Interactive Students at Google!

December 14, 2016 by

Tuesday, November 1st, C/I 35 students and Mrs. Ramirez from Information Technology high school in Long Island City visited Google’s Chelsea office.

Doug Rohde an experienced google engineer welcomed the group before splitting up to tour the office. Students were thrilled as they took in Google’s awesome office space. From the game room to the Lego room to the multiple dining areas students soaked in the collaborative work environment.

“I definitely want to work here”

The visit concluded with an employee panel and the chance to ask questions one on one. Students discussed their career goals, passion for coding and even suggestions to improve Googles Music App.

“I liked the fact that at Google we got to not only see the office but that we got a chance to talk to the employees”.

Thanks so much to our awesome panelists and your support of diversity in tech. We can’t wait to see you all again soon!
