Code/Interactive Students learn about databases at MongoDB!

December 14, 2016 by

Thursday, October 27th, C/I students from High School for Hospitality and Managemen and Roslyn High School  visited MongoDB’s Manhattan office.

Students started with a tour through MongoDB’s Times Square office space, led by Danielle James, complete with scooters, ping pong tables and coders hard at work.

Following the tour, students heard from a panel of experienced MongoDB employees and got a crash course in databases, using blocks to explain how MongoDB works.

“It was very interesting to hear about how different members of the team at MongoDB, pooled their ideas and worked together on different projects”.

Thanks so much to our awesome panelists and your support of diversity in tech. We can’t wait to see you all again soon!
